Downtime is minimal, following GENIUS treatments. The treated area
will be swollen and inflamed or irritated for up to 36 hours. No specific post-treatment medication, measures, or restrictions are required. Healing time varies by patient. 

Results

Patients see some changes within a day or two after their first session of GENIUS. However, your body will continue to build collagen for several weeks after that. Therefore, the most improvement occur over the next four to six months. This is because the body takes time to create new collagen in the skin and to contract and remodel the connective tissue fibers. These results can last for up to a year or longer, although exact results will vary by patient.

Is RF Microneedling Better Than Microneedling?

In RF Microneedling, the addition of advanced radiofrequency energy stimulates higher levels of skin improving proteins and enzymes like collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid compared to microneedling alone. Genius also uses a sophisticated hand piece which analyzes the skin as it passes, allowing for changes in needle penetration depth to account for differences in skin characteristics like thickness or roughness. Is RF Microneedling Painful?

If necessary, we offer PRO-NOX which is a pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to patients for the relief of pain and anxiety associated with the procedure.

How Many RF Microneedling Treatments Will I Need?

Most patients need about three RF microneedling treatments one month apart to achieve optimal results. We will determine a personalized treatment plan for each patient based on unique skin characteristics and the desired endpoint.
