Xeomin® is a simple injectable treatment that relaxes the facial muscles to smooth out lines and wrinkles and produce a more youthful appearance.

Xeomin®, similar to popular injectable products like Botox®, uses the botulinum neurotoxin to relax the facial muscles that are responsible for creating and worsening wrinkles. Once these muscles are relaxed, the wrinkles will smooth out and leave you with a refreshed appearance. In addition to being an effective treatment for reducing wrinkles, the Xeomin® treatment can also help prevent wrinkles from worsening and new wrinkles from forming.

Which lasts longer, Botox® or Xeomin®?

The ingredients in Xeomin® and Botox® are nearly identical, which means both treatments last approximately the same amount of time. The small differences in each formula may cause one treatment to produce results that last a few weeks longer, but it is difficult to determine which of these treatments will last longer for you without our ability to analyze the skin during a consultation. We’ll examine all possible treatment options for you to ensure that Xeomin® is the best fit for your goals.

Where is Xeomin® Injected?

The Xeomin® formula is injected into the muscles in the desired treatment area. For the treatment of crow’s feet, frown lines and nearby wrinkles, this means that you can expect the Xeomin® injections to be performed between the eyes and along the brow line. However, the exact location may vary depending on your goals and the wrinkles you’d like to address.

Is Xeomin® Painful?

Xeomin® injections do not require any anesthesia because the treatment is well-tolerated. We may use a topical anesthetic or some ice to numb the injection site prior to treatment, but these precautions are completely effective in eliminating any discomfort from the Xeomin® treatment.
