How is Sculptra® Administered?

Your Sculptra® treatment will be performed by Dr. Charles Boyd in our office. Before your treatment begins, Dr. Boyd may apply a topical anesthetic to your treatment area, typically around face, neck, and décolletage. This is to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Once your treatment area is numb, Dr. Boyd will make a series of strategically placed Sculptra® injections into your treatment area. The entire treatment process typically completed in under 30 minutes.

What Results Can I Expect from Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment, there is no formal downtime and recovery following each treatment session. Many patients report experiencing mild redness, tenderness, and swelling around your injection sites. These typically resolve on their own within a few hours of treatment. You will see some results of your Sculptra® treatment immediately, with ultimate results appearing over the following three months. This allows time for the active ingredient in Sculptra® to take effect in the body, stimulate your body’s natural production of collagen, and rejuvenate your skin for the long-term.
