Julia Latkovic brings a thoughtful, anatomy-driven approach to aesthetics—rooted in her early experience as an operating nurse and surgical first assist. Before joining the aesthetic side of medicine, Julia worked at the University of Michigan and later trained closely under Dr. Charles M. Boyd, gaining advanced knowledge of facial anatomy and the artistry of subtle, natural results.

As a nurse practitioner at BOYD, Julia offers injectable treatments, laser therapies, and regenerative options including PRF and PRP for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration. Her clinical training includes certifications in Sculptra, dermal filler, neurotoxin, and platelet-based therapies, along with an ongoing commitment to staying current with emerging techniques.

Julia is known for her calm presence, patient education, and ability to build gradual, strategic plans that help patients age with grace—not drastic change. Her own favorite treatments include SkinVive for radiant skin, Sculptra for long-term volume, and the Halo laser for overall skin refinement.

How did you get into aesthetics?

I started working as an operating nurse at the University of Michigan and then transitioned into working as a first assist with Dr. Boyd. Dr. Boyd taught me in depth facial anatomy and best practices when it comes to injecting.

What do you love most about working in this industry?

I love that aesthetics is constantly growing and I am able to help people feel better about themselves every day!

Have you tried any BOYD treatments? Which ones are your favorites?

I have tried many Boyd treatments! I love Skinvive (gives your skin a great glow!), Sculptra, and Halo laser.

What concerns do patients commonly come to you with?

Many patients come to me wanting to look younger and “less tired” or “less angry.” They want to age gracefully without looking too frozen or fake.

What’s one piece of advice you like to share during patient visits?

During patient visits I tell patients to “trust the process.” Many of these treatments take time to see the full effect and reach the desired outcome.

What do you love most about working at BOYD?

I love that at BOYD we have the ability to constantly grow and learn new things. We always have access to the latest therapies or treatments in the industry.
