Q&A with Monica
How did you get into aesthetics?
After years working the ICU in Chicago and Denver, I began my focus and training of aesthetics at a medical spa in Denver focusing on full facial balancing and natural looking results. After two years there, my now family of three moved back home to Michigan where I joined BOYD!
What do you love most about working in this industry?
Easy! I get to spend my days boosting my clients confidence and make them feel the most beautiful version of themselves!
Have you tried any BOYD treatments? Which ones are your favorites?
Yes! Sculptra is always my favorite, but a close second is MOXI and BBL laser. They both give such a beautiful glow!
What concerns do patients commonly come to you with?
A lot of my patients have concerns about their under-eyes looking tired or needing a refresh- so we do a full facial assessment to tailor a treatment plan that fits within their goals
What’s one piece of advice you like to share during patient visits?
Take it slow! One piece of advice I always share with my clients is to trust the process. The most natural, long-lasting results are achieved gradually. A thoughtful approach allows your features to harmonize beautifully over time, creating results that look effortless and feel authentic.
What do you love most about working at BOYD?
Teamwork and innovation! Everyone at BOYD is truly part of a team, working together to give our patients the best outcomes. We are always striving to find new products, treatments and techniques to bring the best for our patients.
What makes BOYD’s approach to aesthetics stand out?
BOYD stands out through a holistic and highly personalized approach to aesthetics. Each experience begins with a detailed consultation and assessment, ensuring that every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to the patient’s goals. We strive to create results that are both beautiful and natural, empowering our patients to look and feel their best.
